Many students dream of studying abroad, yet, it is undoubtedly unpredictable and filled with hurdles requiring constant self-assessment, improvement, proper guidance, and immense practice. Regardless of the difficulty, it isn't unachievable.

Indrajeet, 35, M.A. in English, an IELTS trainer with 8+ years of experience, applied for a study visa and got rejected. With a 7+ Band in IELTS, she was confident, but something seemed to be missing. The agency she was working with suggested changing the course she was applying for, which got her the AIT clearance, but when it came to final approval, she got rejected again. We in Sunbright Overseas went through her VISA application thoroughly and noticed numerous slight yet not-to-be-missed mistakes that a scholar with a great profile might not want to make.

Firstly, we advised her to apply for a more relevant course in a college of her choice. If preparing for IELTS/PTE, you must know how crucial one's 'Statement of Purpose' or Letter can be. Hence, our second target was to improve the SOP altogether. We composed a 5-6 page SOP containing Indrajeet's interest, purpose, and passion for studying in that particular country and what the college had to add to her career. Notably mentioning what makes her a suitable choice for the college and what she can add with a slight personal touch, briefing what improvements she made from her previous attempts.

Not to forget, the IELTS score has a validity of 2 years. While the rejection, correction, and reapplication were happening, the validity had expired. Under our supervision for IELTS preparation, Indrajeet was set to appear for IELTS again. Undoubtedly, she was one of the bests but sharpening one's skills does no harm. Our constantly revised IELTS curriculum and regular IELTS mock tests helped her go that one step she couldn't go before, resulting in an improved IELTS band.

Indrajeet applied for Canada Visa again in 2022 and received approval in around 80 days. Her hard work and determination paid off, and she is excited and set to leave for her anticipated college in august. Indrajeet's experience tells us that direction and guidance are as important as hard work and knowledge, and dreams shall never remain unachieved. Even after getting rejected twice she didn’t give up and was willing to take one more attempt. She got her dream college, so can you!
